How long does it take? The Voices of Eden process normally takes 1-2 hours, divided into two sessions. The first session gives you the basic tools and helps move what is at the front of the block. This helps me to compose music specifically designed to heal and transform it.
I give you homework in between sessions to help you commit to yourself and focus in the real world rather than gloss into old habit and hide by moving on to the next thing. You get to watch yourself - pay attention to how things feel, try out the process in a real life situation, watch what comes up and report back.
The second session helps you to anchor the new tools you've been practicing in between sessions. Once the block shifts, more can be waiting behind that, so you get support and more music to heal and transform the issue at a deeper level. If you are very focused and know what you would like specifically to focus upon, and you are a self starter, then one session may be sufficient for you. The power of two sessions is that you are able to dig deeper, and there is time in between sessions to implement the tools as well as to have more music composed for you that can melt the underlying issues that lie beneath the surface.
Where: We can use Skype. I find this program is usually stable enough to support these sessions. And we can often use video too, which is fun because we get to see each other face-to-face. For Skype calls (links to www.skype.com download page), you need a computer with a headset / speakers and microphone, and a camera (optional). Most laptops have these components built in. You also need to download the skype program and create an account. (I also recommend that you be prepared to use the phone as a backup in case there are any problems with the Skype call quality.)
With skype, I have a professional, high quality mic which lends itself well to high quality recordings - much better than the average free conference call telephone lines.
Or we can work over the phone. You will dial into a local USA landline number. So all you will need is a phone and a private space to make the call from. You won't have to call an international number. Alternatively, there is skype phone, where I can call your landline from my computer.
